Friday is a sacred day of devotion, uniting the faithful in honoring the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno (the Black Nazarene). The Sacred Heart reveals Christ’s unfailing love and mercy for humanity, while the Black Nazarene reminds us of His suffering and sacrifice as He carried the Cross for our salvation. On this day, we entrust our lives to the Sacred Heart and draw strength from the Nazarene’s example of faith, humility, and endurance in trials.

O Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno, we kneel before Your sacred image with faith and devotion. You carried the Cross to Calvary out of love for us. Look with mercy upon us in our needs and sufferings.

Lord Nazareno, I offer to You my burdens, trials, and sins. Grant me the favor I now seek in this novena (mention petition). May I always imitate Your humility and perseverance in carrying my own cross.

Panimulang Panalangin
O Kabanal-banalang Puso ni Hesus, bukal ng pag-ibig at habag, sinasamba Kita at iniaalay ko ang aking sarili sa Iyo. Ikaw ang aking kanlungan at pag-asa.
Panalangin ng Paghiling
Puso ni Hesus na puno ng awa, sa Iyo ko inilalagak ang lahat ng aking tiwala. Alisin Mo ang katigasan ng aking puso, puspusin Mo ako ng kapayapaan, at ipagkaloob Mo ang biyayang aking hinihiling sa nobenang ito (banggitin ang kahilingan).

O Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno, kami’y lumuluhod sa Iyong banal na larawan na may pananampalataya at debosyon. Dala Mo ang Krus patungong Kalbaryo alang-alang sa aming kaligtasan. Lingapin Mo kami sa aming mga pangangailangan at paghihirap.

Panginoong Nazareno, iniaalay ko sa Iyo ang aking mga pasanin, pagsubok, at kasalanan. Ipagkaloob Mo ang biyayang aking hinihiling sa nobenang ito (banggitin ang kahilingan). Nawa’y tularan ko ang Iyong kababaang-loob at pagtitiis sa aking sariling krus.
